England take on the Chinese team – Women's Exhibition Match
Preamble
Welcome everyone to the non-competitive fixture between England and China at Wembley Stadium. An exciting encounter is anticipated with the European Championship holders taking on the reigning Asia Cup winners.
The home of English football is fully booked for the match, which will see Fran Kirby honored pre-match after her departure from the England squad before the Euros this past summer.
Lineup details will be announced shortly, but there was a last minute squad update for England. On Friday, the goalkeeper Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a slight knock, and so previous starter Ellie Roebuck has been called up.
With Hannah Hampton injured, it will be interesting to see who England manager Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. That news and all the other updates are incoming before the opening whistle at 5.30pm GMT.
